Private Event ORDER FORM
We are thrilled to have you join us for your fabulous event!
Use this form to share your vision for your party, make selections of food and drink to enjoy, & let us know of any special requests. We believe in customization, since every event is unique, so please let us know if we can offer a customized gift for your guests.
We do not require fixed packages, minimum guest counts, or minimum spends. We simply have a $60 per hour rental fee, & a menu of options to choose from. Remember to review our policies below, with important details about decorating, outside food, & safety. If friends or family will be assisting with decoration, be sure to let them know of these policies.
+ DEPOSIT & HOURLY RENTAL
This signed contract & date-hold deposit in the amount of $100 must be received at least 48 hours before your event to finalize your private reservation. Late submission will impact our staffng schedule & the reservations of other guests, & will result in an additional $50 rush fee. The final balance, including 7.75% Sales Tax, 18% Gratuity, & all applicable fees, is due upon departure. Each half hour of rental is billed at $30. All deposits are non-refundable.
+ ARRIVAL & SET-UP TIME
The Umbral Room will be accessible 30 minutes prior to the start of your hourly rental. Additional time for the purposes of set-up & decoration may be made available upon request, & will be billed at $30.00 per half hour.
+ SITE DECORATION
Prior to your arrival, all furnishings will be organized according to the pre-selected seating arrangment. For safety, only staff of the Restaurant may rearrange or move any furnishings, including, but not limited to, artwork, lamps, or seating. Nails, screws, staples, or penetrating items are prohibited. Candles, glitter, or confetti are prohibited. Only low tack tape is allowed on the walls, & will be provided by the Restaurant. Damages to the Umbral Room or its furnishings will result in retention of the $100 deposit.
+ OUTSIDE FOOD & BEVERAGE
No outside food or beverage of any kind is allowed under any circumstances, including edible favors or gifts. This is because the Restaurant specializes in favors & gifts. The only exception to this restriction is for bottles of wine. The Guest may bring outside bottles of wine, for which there is a $15 corking fee per bottle.
Personalized chocolate favors & gifts can be ordered, complete with custom printing & ribbon color. Celebration cakes can be preordered from the Restaurant with 48 hours notice, for which there is a $10 service fee per cake.
A $50 FEE WILL BE ASSESSED FOR DECORATING WITH COMMERCIAL CANDY.
+ DEPARTURE & CLEAN UP
The Umbral Room is to be vacated of all guests & all outside decorations by the Departure Time. Additional rental fees will be assessed at $30 per half hour if the Umbral Room has not been vacated by the Departure Time.
+ RELEASE & LIABILITY
The Guest agrees to indemnify, defend, & hold Eclipse Chocolate, its landlord, & employees from any liabilities, costs, penalties, or expenses resulting from the use of the premises, including, but not limited to, personal injuries, property damages, or any other damages to all third parties.
